Is your website applying your brand consistently?
Short answer
The Theepa website brand audit reads the same HTML and CSS a visitor's browser downloads and runs 18 checks in five groups: Colour, Typography, Contrast, Brand signals and Design system. It lists the brand colours and typefaces your site actually uses, finds near-duplicate colours and failing text pairs, and scores consistency out of 100: 85+ Consistent, 65–84 Mostly consistent, 45–64 Drifting, under 45 Inconsistent.
A free alternative to running CSS Stats, a contrast checker and a meta tag checker one by one. Those tools give you the numbers; this one tells you what they mean for your brand, what to fix first, and hands your real palette to our DESIGN.md generator and contrast checker.

How it works.
The method behind the numbers, so you can judge the result.
- Colour (25): brand colour families (a colour with its tints and shades counts once; 2 to 4 is ideal), near-duplicate colours under a ΔE of 5, and the number of greys.
- Typography (25): typefaces in use (icon fonts and system fallbacks ignored), distinct font sizes, font weights, and whether web fonts use font-display: swap.
- Contrast (15): every rule that sets both a text and a background colour is tested against WCAG AA (4.5:1), plus your body text against the page background.
- Brand signals (20): favicon, home-screen icon, share image (og:image and Twitter card), the brand name in the title and og:site_name, a labelled logo, and a theme colour that matches your palette.
- Design system (15): colours set as CSS variables (tokens), the number of corner radius values, and the number of shadow styles.
- Checks we can't run (for example, no web fonts to test) are left out of the score. The audit reads code, not pixels: colours inside images and anything a script adds after load aren't counted.

Website brand audit: questions
How do I check if my website is on brand?
Compare the colours, fonts and shapes your site actually uses against your brand guide. This audit does it automatically: it reads your CSS, lists every brand colour and typeface it finds, and flags near-duplicates, extra fonts and low-contrast text.
How many brand colours should a website use?
Most strong brands use 2 to 4 colour families (a main colour, one or two accents and a highlight) plus 5 or 6 greys. Tints and shades of the same colour count as one family.
What is a near-duplicate colour?
Two colours that look the same to the eye but have different codes, such as #4655D4 and #4656D5. They usually come from copy-paste or an eyedropper, and they're the clearest sign a site was built without colour tokens.
Can it audit a Framer, Webflow or Shopify site?
Yes. It reads the HTML and CSS any browser downloads, whatever built them. Framer puts its styles in the page itself; for Webflow, Shopify and Next.js sites, also paste the main CSS file linked in the page source.
