How much should your website cost?
Short answer
This calculator estimates a 2026 website budget from public market ranges: a business or marketing site typically runs about $800–$4,000 with a freelancer and $2,000–$10,000 with an agency before adjustments, then page count, platform, extras and market move the range. It also adds platform plan fees and a typical timeline.

How it works.
The method behind the numbers, so you can judge the result.
- Base ranges by site type come from Project Cost Estimator's 2026 website cost data (freelancer and agency medians, USD).
- Market adjustment uses the same source's multipliers: United States about 1.28×, United Kingdom 1.1×; UAE, GCC and other markets are shown at 1×.
- Page count, platform and extras are Theepa Studio's rules of thumb, shown openly: 1–5 pages ×0.8, 6–15 ×1, 16–30 ×1.35, 31+ ×1.8; custom code (Next.js or Astro) ×1.35; each extra adds 10–25%.
- Platform fees are the vendors' yearly-billed site plans as checked in October 2026. Prices change; confirm on the vendor's site.
- Results are estimates for budgeting, not quotes.
