Turn your FAQs into schema AI can read.

Short answer

Type your questions and answers and the generator writes valid FAQPage JSON-LD and the matching visible FAQ HTML, ready to paste. It also flags answers that are too short to stand alone, too long to quote, duplicated, or not phrased as questions.

A free alternative to hand-writing JSON-LD or installing a plugin just for FAQ markup. Since August 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results mainly for well-known government and health sites, but the markup still helps search engines and AI tools understand your questions and answers.

This report was made with FAQ schema generator, a free tool by Theepa Studio. Results come from the inputs on the page when it was saved.

How it works.

The method behind the numbers, so you can judge the result.

  • Output follows schema.org FAQPage: each item is a Question with an acceptedAnswer of type Answer, and answers are plain text.
  • The visible HTML uses details and summary elements, so the questions are readable on the page as well as in the schema. Google's guidelines say marked-up FAQs must be visible.
  • Checks: question marks, duplicates, answers under 12 words or over 120 words, and HTML inside answers.
  • Special characters are escaped so the script tag can't break your page.

FAQ schema generator: questions

Does FAQ schema still work?

Google limited FAQ rich results in August 2023 mainly to authoritative government and health sites. The markup is still valid and still helps search engines and AI assistants understand your questions and answers.

Do the FAQs need to be visible on the page?

Yes. Mark up only questions and answers that people can see on the page.

How long should an FAQ answer be?

Long enough to make sense on its own, short enough to quote: usually one to three sentences, about 20–80 words.
